Date of birth: 9th July, 1986
Education: M.Sc. in wildlife ecology, Central Department of Zoology, Tribhuvan University, Nepal

Awards:
1.Small grant from ‘Karla Bloem’ and ‘Hein Bloem’ USA, Friends of Nature (FON), Nepal to conduct research on ‘Local Perceptions about Owls in Bhaktapur city’ (October 2011).
2.Best Student Paper Award (First). Students’ Conservation Conference and Exhibition 5-7 June, 2011. From National Trust for Nature Conservation (NTNC).
3.First Jatayu Scholarship Award
(2009/2010). From Bird Conservation Nepal (BCN).

Wildlife ecology, conservation biology, wildlife ecotourism
I am interested in research and conservation of Himalayan griffon (Gyps himalayensis), other Gyps vultures, kites, owls, and raptors in general.
