Laura Riba-Hernández


Biologist from Costa Rica. In 2000 earned a Bachelor´s Degree in Tropical Biology from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Costa Rica and started to work in the field studying community ecology, behavior, reproduction, distribution and conservation of birds in Costa Rica, Panama and Peru. Hack-site Attendant for the Peregrine Fund in Panama for the Harpy Eagle Release Program in 2003 and 2004; former intern of Hawk Mountain Sanctuary in 2006; coordinator of the Raptor Migration Program at Kekoldi in 2007 and currently M.Sc. candidate at the Institute of Biosciences at the Universidade de Sao Paolo (USP), Brazil.
