   Research Interests

Focussed on the conservation of the Bearded Vulture in southern Africa. Currently implementing actions emanating from the Bearded Vulture Population and Habitat Viability Assessment. This is being done through the Bearded Vulture Task Force of the Endangered Wildlife Trust. Have fitted 3 satellite transmitters to juvenile bearded vultures to determine their home range and causes of mortality. Will be fitting an additional 4 transmitters during November 2008.
