Biography
Bachelor's degree in Biology in 1994. PhD student at the University of Alicante (Spain) on Status, Distribution Migration and Conservation of Diurnal Birds of Prey in Cuba. Former Hawk Mountain intern. Led the raptor migration counts in La Gran Piedra Raptor Observatory in eastern Cuba since 2001. Working also with resident species in Cuba, especially with the endemic and threatened Gundlach's Hawk breeding ecology and conservation.
